HVR MX2 99kg Fullsize MX and HVR 85Pro 85cc Size Bike from Germany

Great story Andreas! Thanks so much for chiming in here. Alway great to hear from the people who are actually making these products we all debate, criticize (that's what the internet is meant for, right?!) and drool over. Love learning about the passion and what it actually takes to make these...

HVR MX2 99kg Fullsize MX and HVR 85Pro 85cc Size Bike from Germany

They're just using a standard QS138 70H V3 with their own fluid for cooling. Nothing unique there. However the frame does not look familiar, so that might be something proprietary. Regardless, for that price, either do your own conversion (which is basically what this bike is), or just buy a...

    Kayo eC2

Nice. Ahead of the curve! Yeah I think a lot of us here have either built or attempted to build our own ebikes/motos. I completed my build YZ250F conversion in 2023 with a lot of help from Don Cox, who is kinda the guru around here. My YZ-E can certainly still hold it's own, on the track or...

    Kayo eC2

If you rode that bike, you'd understand why it's not even a part of the conversation.

    Kayo eC2

Yup, just, "Here it is. Feel free to speculate on specs or timeline, cuz we ain't telling you shit!" Never understood this strategy. You know what worked? Stark providing intimate detail from Day 1. Built the expectation and met it in reality/production.

    Kayo eC2

Looks like Kayo is throwing it's electric hat in the ring at EICMA. Doesn't look like the most sophisticated motor (air cooled), battery or controller, but happy to see another company with a semi-serious full-size offering. Supermoto version too.

Yet another CRF 250 Build but its my first so... ;)

I've used this exact same stuff. Looks really good and works really well!...for about 3 rides. Mine began to come off fairly fast but was very effective when it was on.

Bike looks awesome! Congrats! On your battery fitment, it's great that it's so snug, but I highly recommend doing a proper mount, both for your safety, the safety of others and for the battery's protection. If you were only riding street then it wouldn't matter, but if you're doing MX, the...

That first time you get the motor to spin up is beyond satisfying! I was yelling like a mad man when I connected everything the first time! haha. On video it's so underwhelming compared to the elation you're probably experiencing. Congrats! Build and battery are looking great!

My conversion is no different. I think most of the chain rattle happens ALL the time on every MX bike. The difference is that there's no engine noise to drown out the other noises (chain, suspension, wheels, the random wire or cable slapping against plastic or the frame). Dirt bikes go through...

Arctic Leopard E-XE 880 Electric Dirt Bike

That may be, but keep in mind that Charged sells Arctic Leopards, so his take is a little biased. Your money with probably better spent on your conversion.

    YZ-EMX Kits now Available

I had a chance to ride the YZ-EMX with Electro & Co and ElectricCycleRider.com a few months ago. Great bike! The review went live last week. Check it out! Here's the full article:

Love the idea of the push lock! That will make battery swaps so much easier. Might have to integrate that on my YZ build. What kind of range are you aiming for? I'd guess that at 81v 60ah you'll be able to comfortably get 30-35 miles of trail range (depending on the terrain). On the track...

Great point there. But yes I've heard good things about the 3Shul too. I'm no programmer, so would need to find a way to get the controller working properly with the motor.
