Media Review Stark Varg SM vs. KTM 690 SMC R

It would weigh more than a 690. You would have to add ABS, a CCS2 receptacle for DC charge, and probably an onboard AC charger for when DC charge is not available. All that adds up. Just me venting now, but CCS2 was not designed with bikes in mind; it is huge and heavy. Royal Enfield already...

    Stark Future NEXT NEW UPDATES

That is not how it works. The virtual flywheel is split into 3 flywheel -- accel and decel and impulse. Accel limits how fast it "spins up". Decel flywheel is generally not used but has a few edge cases that I will not explain at this moment. Then there is the impulse flywheel; this is to...

    Stark Future NEXT NEW UPDATES

Simply using virtual flywheel for climb helps a lot as it will not immediately "spin up" when traction is broken. However, in certain situations, the flywheel will slow you down. Particularly if you set the flywheel "heavy". A simple solution is to simply let the rider change flywheels the same...

    Fast 7kW charger

OK, same thing except rated for 50A. The main point is that the charger is single phase ~230VAC at 32A max.

    Fast 7kW charger

In Europe the three phase plug will have 3 phases, neutral, and earth/ground. Phase to phase voltage is 400VAC, and each phase to neutral is ~230VAC. Since the stated draw is 32A max, that max 32*230=7.4kW So in the USA, a nema 14-30 (commonly used for electric clothes dryers) is rated for 30A...

    Electric Clutch Reviews?

I didn't look very closely but the main issue with a clutch that sits between the e-throttle and VCU (effectively modifies the throttle signal going to the VCU) is that you cannot get it to act like a physical clutch. Two main issues: 1. To eliminate regen (engine braking) when throttle closed...

    Battery 1.0 vs 1.2/EX

HVIL is on the orange power connector and that has not changed. My guess is that nothing has changed besides the 12V/CAN connector (although I cannot be 100% sure about that).

    Battery 1.0 vs 1.2/EX

I took a look on HiGo's site at didn't see it. So it is either HiGo custom or some other manufacturer. Edit: looks to be custom.

    Battery 1.0 vs 1.2/EX

Will be interesting to see what they do. They might end up putting a new VCU, phone, and wiring harness in it. Please let me know how it turns out.

    Battery 1.0 vs 1.2/EX

First, you would need to know the pinout. Second, the higo is molded. If it was my battery I wouldn't do it because it would end up a butcher job; and I have lots of practice with wiring. It would be a lot easier/cleaner to do it on the VCU/cable-harness end. Stark really should have a solution...

    Battery 1.0 vs 1.2/EX

No error by you. When they switched to higo connectors the whole wiring harness basically changed. I think that with a new wiring harness also comes a new VCU and phone. I wouldn't try to change connectors as you need to split the battery in two to do that. The logical answer would be some sort...

    General Poll, response appreciated

    1. It is still being worked on as time allows. Various spinoffs are being used for some customers (but that is not MX traction control at the moment) for various features. 2. For software development, no. 3. I have no idea.
