If/when a production version comes I doubt the solution will be a dual varg battery. Don't fixate on the kwh number and other specs of the bike in the photo.

This might help for some situations, but it has at least 2 major limitations. 1. In a low HP map it cannot be used to help loft the front. 2. It cannot be used to eliminate engine braking. (and there might be more)

OK, this time I read more carefully. AFAIK (since i worked on the software which was a while ago) there is no fault storage or remembering. So if it was just the cells, replacing the P group should do it. I cannot be sure, but my guess is something wrong the the BMS. That the BMS discharged...

A whole P group is shorted. That battery half is pretty much useless.

How the throttle works is a highly subjective thing. Also, things such as flywheel for sure have an effect on throttle response even though not directly part of the throttle response. So why do some people prefer the way the Alta responds? Not sure... could be flywheel, could be the throttle...

We can try both a ramp rate and a filter. Although, flywheel achieves a similar effect even without a filter/ramp-rate on the throttle. As long as the filter is not too slow, it should not induce oscillations. For start I can try a filter only -- adjustable time constant with option to filter in...

Ok, so imagine you are writing the software for this. Did the rider really want to do that or was that an "inadvertent input"? Remeber, you are blind and cannot see if what object is in front of the bike; another bike or a log... Now suppose you are a super smart programmer who also rides well...

How often does this problem happen? Quite often or once in a blue moon? Does it work without issue for some customers (rarely or never gives problems) but other customers have frequent issues with it? I would appreciate if people would take the time to respond.
