I fitted bleed buttons to the forks. There's often a decent amount of pressure to be released after every ride.
I got to 130 hours before lubricating the linkage. It was pretty crusty but my bike gets a lot of immersion. I really should do the fork oil though.
Not a rack but the Giant Loop Possibles pouch sits nicely with one strap through the subframe and the other around the rear fender. Only three litres but gets the weight of my toolkit and water off my back without getting the way of my riding position.
Mexico would be a surprise, given that Stark already have a relationship with Royal Enfield.
I'm strongly expecting that their lower-cost production will be in India.
The IG pic is confirmation of a new front brake with bigger disk and remote reservoir.
I can't see much else in the pic, despite messing with the levels to see if there's anything hidden in the dark areas.
Like kailua808, I'm into less is more for hard enduro, especially when it's wet and slippery. More power just means that when the rear wheel breaks free it goes sideways faster.
So:
Mode 1 - 20 hp, 70% regen for steep downhills
Mode 2 - 20 hp, 0% regen for slippery climbs and very tight...
My rear brake has a serious case of not holding pressure. The initial pull gets some pressure but that falls to nothing over a couple seconds.
So I'm thinking it's worn seals inside the master cylinder. How hard can it be to fix that, right?
Sadly Google is failing to find me a rebuild kit...
Ok, just the one:
And to keep this thread on track - the fifth factor that affects range is tyre pressure. Around here in the bush, it's stupidly slippery wet clay and roots so we run gummies and Tublis at 3 psi or lower. Tyre pressure that low defintely hurts range. Higher pressures will...
Three factors make a huge difference to range:
Terrain - mud hurts range, deep sand kills range
Hills - regen helps but not that much
Average speed - higher is worse, of course
So a flat gentle ride on hardpack is going to get you the best range. And I'll be over here flattening the battery in...
CATL have announced their next generation of Shenxing cells will do 12C, so that's five minutes.
BYD are claiming 10C for their next generation cells.
Even if those claims are bold, it's pretty clear that charging rates are improving very rapidly. A five minute charge in a couple of years is...
Sounds like a solid plan and I could be tempted by each of those bikes.
Most of the dirt I ride is such tight bush that the power and size of the Varg is overkill. I've a Light Bee but the build quality is trash. 30 kW and 80 kg and 3/4 size and reliable would be an excellent sweet spot.
A...
The key question for me is "what are they raising capital for"?
The Pack article on this raise says it's for working capital. However, Stark is profitable and growing revenue and margin, so they can cover working capital with debt at much lower cost than equity.
So this is most likely for new...
