Time means everything to an enduro/MX. That's why servicing and rebuilds are timed. If you ride slowly, you get more time. If your deep in the gnar then you get less time. If you pin it everywhere on loose ground, less time. It's a big reason Stark are quite cagey about how far you can travel...

Remember that the timer is ticking over every time you stop, as soon as you start etc...

Just to throw a fox in the hen house... What about creating a a lighter hot swap pack for the Stark? Say half the cells. That would be approx 15kg lost and the COG would also drop.

In the case of BBM, I'd highly doubt they will be going for any big market share. If they can get 1 or 2 bikes out a month I'd imagine they'd be happy. It seems that they are aiming for an Arch model not a Honda.
