All modern dirt bikes have some type of traction control. Have you heard Yamaha 4-strokes sputter at WOT as if hitting the rev limiter, even though it is still accelerating? This is traction control kicking in. The Alta has traction control that did not allow the motor to spin up too quickly...

Too much power is not a bad thing if there is good traction control. It looks like Stark is still struggling with traction control in flat corners and the virtual flywheel settings in the whoops.

Maybe there is a place in he low-end market, but hardcore factory-supported racing is what the Japanese did to establish themselves as market leaders back in the 70's. They hired Roger De Coster, and the rest is history. Then Honda and others did the same. Before that, everyone was riding clunky...

I hope they also copy the KYB suspension internals, hire a few retired pro riders, start a racing team, and win a few races. That's my advice.

I think $49K is not a great deal for a defunct noisy/cold electric tin box that may no longer have any dealer support after its warranty expires. For that money, we may soon be able to buy used Cybertrucks.
