Stark Electric Bikes needed for 'Arctic Sea Ice Monitoring Terminal Deployment' programme.

Christini once made an AWD bicycle for some arctic explorer/tourist. One might think an electric AWD is a way to go, but I think a mechanical AWD would have more traction at low speeds, like in a crawl mode.

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

This is normal, unfortunately. If the Anker unit is plugged into 110V, you cannot get 240V out of it. Unplug it first, then you will get 240V, and then you will be able to charge your Varg/Redshift/etc. with 240V. It is a shortcoming of this thing, it is sorta described in a very coded language...

Thanks for the info and the pic. I cannot find these on the Enzo Racing website though, their photo is different. Is the price $110?

    Varg suspension

Race Tech, MX Tech, and most dirt bike suspension shops should have springs for the Varg KYB, which is the same as Yamaha's KYB. Does anyone know the Varg's correct fork spring length though? The Yamana's forks (and probably springs too) changed by 5mm at least once in the last 10 years.

EV Charge Station at the Track

Good news. I like it! Technically, that would be called a "Level 1 EV Charger". A 240V power outlet is considered "Level 2".

Motion Pro Clicker adjusters and bleeders

I like it! I should be playing with clickers more often. I used to carry a small screwdriver stuck into the handlebar pad. But I still didn't adjust the clickers often enough. These large toll-free adjusters are just begging to be spun! Do they have something for the bottom rebound adjuster...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

These are two units, 132 lbs on wheels and 72 lbs without wheels. If I find a good place for it in my van, I may never have to remove it. I will charge it when the van is parked and plugged in, and it will charge the bike when I am at the track. It's like a battery in a Tesla. It stays in the car.

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

WOW! I just bought it! Thank you, Don!!! I also added a 400W portable solar panel for $300. A sweet deal! I was actually eyeing this package yesterday and called Anker. They are a Chinese company (hard to tell), but they have sales offices and warehouses all over the world. Anker Solix F3800...

Stark Varg foot or hand brake?

I emailed Jason at support@oxbrake.com on your behalf, but we haven't heard back yet. Try calling him at 385-315-7157. He really should post that discount code here on the forum.

Yamaha patent for electric mx with clutch

Electric bike patents are getting out-of-hand. Yamaha patented a mechanical clutch. Zero just patented an electric clutch. Perhaps, I should patent a mechanical and electric LHRB on an electric bike. https://www.visordown.com/news/general/zero-patent-shows-clutch-system-electric-bikes

2024-03-16 WORCS Racing Havasu 50C Class Moto 1

Haha! There was no "50C Moto 2" that weekend. The other 50C race was not for MC but for ATVs! :ROFLMAO: I am glad to know that I am not crazy, and I am not a wimp among iron men, LOL! One 55-minute moto per weekend was brutal enough for me. Here are the lap times: Trackside Online Results...

2024-03-16 WORCS Racing Havasu 50C Class Moto 1

Alta Redshift passes everybody and leads (and almost wins) a race! :) I am so out-of-shape that it is embarrassing to watch my own videos. I was in an ER ten days ago with a compressed disk in my back. But I went to see the track on Friday and decided I wanted to race. I paced myself, took a...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

This one has only a 120V output. It's not ideal if you want to charge your bike at the track between the motos. You'd really want 240V for that. Europe has 220V everywhere, so it is always (relatively) fast charging. But here in the US, if you plug into 110V, your charging speed will be more...

Rear hand brake - major fading, solution??

@AgileMike - Brakes start dragging during riding and then overheat due to several possible issues. See if any of them could be the case: 1) Mechanical drag. Something is mechanical is keeping the wheel from spinning freely. This issue would normally be present constantly. Either the pads do not...

    Flat Track - Stark Varg

:-) Don mentioned that it was a mini flat tracker, but then he posted a picture of the bike that is almost as tall as Kenny Roberts himself, LOL. Very tricky photographer our Don is! The wheels, the front fork, and the overall dimensions of this bike are borrowed from a Honda Monkey. This is...
