Still runs out of gearing on larger tracks. But also runs out of battery cooling so even longer gearing wouldn't matter much. Has more than enough power so no point using shorter gearing.
You will be limited to like 60mph with 17" rear wheel and stock gearing. I use 15/44 sprockets on supermoto setup and 14/47(or whatewer the stock rear is) in enduro. Changing the front sprocket and adjusting the chain takes like 1 min extra when changing wheels. Best timesaver is running 320mm...
I got the 1.6.0 and 2.7.2 updates and now finally my stats(total airtime, gas saved etc.) are working. They worked for the first ride when I got the bike and started to just display zeroes until the latest update.
I have ridden my EX on a few tracks and it works well on small tracks. On tracks with longer straights you can only ride for 10-15 minutes every 2 hours (3groups x 20min sessions skipping every other session for charging and letting the battery cool down) as the longer straghts eat the battery...
