Talking to a Trial rider about riding and technique is like talking to a pianist about music and playing: Meaningless, unless you are a pianist and playing their exact music.

In my world riding into a wall at the rev limiter just doesn't come up. And if it does, it will be only once.

P.S.
Difference in sound of the 4T and Varg in that video is striking.

The Stark was set up to fail, 40 HP, the rider never having ridden 1 ft. on one, conditions described by most to be it's Achilles heel, and yet, he bested both of the other bikes and set a new personal best. The 4t beating the 2t was surprise enough, but the Stark was on another level. Quite impressive proof of concept.

I really like how nuanced he is regarding the bikes. Not being to judgemental and acknowledging it are different bikes that require different techniques. Even if he would have failed on the Stark it would have been a great and fair video i think.

Watched all his comparisons (3 video's so far) and when he dials in that bike he will work magic. A tad more power, tad more engine brake and maybe play with the rebound it will be a precision weapon in his hands.

I'm no trials rider, by any stretch, but I often use the slam your butt down on the back of the seat to get a sudden short moment of increased traction, which with an electric bike, allows for an insane burst of acceleration, where you can actually use that instantaneous torque to full effect. You can see him using it in the video to get the momentum up before standing up on the pegs for the wall climb. I love using that technique when riding with other gas bikes, because no matter how close they are on your ass, you will immediately disappear in the straights using that. It really pisses my friends off, because it tends to come with a shower of rocks when I do it
