Hello new to the forums here and looking forward to sharing and learning. I have the ktm freeeride e-xc 2021 model, with 1170 miles and 94hours now. I have read that around the 50hr mark some of the main wire harnesses start to break at the steering stem from constant kinking, has anyone experienced this yet ? I have not, but I ordered a spare harness just in case, and has anyone addressed this with a solution yet ? All I have done is try to change were it kinks with a tension spring around it so it curves when turning to the right not kink. Thanks ahead!

I just removed that plastic piece all together , so the wires could bend more easily .

We had the wires breaking on our E-XC around the headstock, even some that looked ok had broken the wire inside so we cut them all at the point they were breaking and added a few inches extra to give some slack. Soldered the joints and put heat shrink on seems ok now. Was the new loom a revised part number meaning modified (extended) to fix the problem?

That's awesome, but sounds like a lot of work ! No not a better loom just a extra in case. I used these to put around the head set wire loom. It'll have to be taped so I don't scratch the paint. I'll take pics once installed.
