Anyone making stronger motor covers yet? Cracked my stock one

Can anybody identify this black case cover used by Eddie Karlson in a recent race?
Is it Stark item or an aftermarket?

I think it's custom. This thread has a good summary of case covers and replacement cases. Nothing we've seen on the market matches that shape.

I asked Stark (on FB) about it, and they are not responding so it's probably custom factory item for their team.

There is a new cover from Dowatek that covers the casing.

After shipping and taxes it would cost me as much as 4 oem covers.
Even the NiceCNC doubled the price recently.

Ouch, that's a solid hit — glad it wasn't worse. You're definitely not alone; that magnesium cover is a known weak point on these bikes. I haven't seen an off-the-shelf reinforced cover yet, but a few riders in the [specific bike forum/model group] have had theirs custom-fabricated from aluminum or even machined with a slight lip to protect the mating surface.

Installed the new Dowa cover yesterday, and I can confirm the protective lip also works with the rear footbrake.
(on the website they mention it won't)
