Suzuki RM-E Build 2026

If that came with the QS138 70H V3 it is a 428 sprocket. Lithium-king.com has great 520 14T sprockets for that motor. But he could get some 15T made I think if you ask him.
I asked Derek if he could get a 15T sprocket, he didn’t think there would be enough demand, basically said no.

Thanks for helping out with this - I think I will contact JT sprockets to see if they can find a compatable sprocket - I street ride 50% of the time and because of current off road gearing I drain the battery quick

Why don’t you just go with a smaller rear? I’m pretty sure you can get all the way down to a 40/41T rear for the RMZ

I was watching a YouTube video by Kevin G about his KTM QS138 swap and he said there is a Yamaha application that mounts the same way, same dimensions, but is a 520 sprocket. Maybe an ATV application. Anyone know anything about that?

Common rear sprockets are 48-51 tooth - smaller rear sprockets are surprisingly uncommon - also changing gearing with front sprocket is much easier.

No they aren’t. There’s tons of them. For one dirt tricks makes them from like 54-41 for the rmz

Super moto guys run smaller rear sprockets therefore the availability of them has gone way up since SM popularity has gone up.

Others do also, but imo dirt tricks make the best rears

Here you go this link will take you to their Suzuki page

If your wheel crosses to a common application, Rebel Gears can usually cut you custom rear aluminum sprockets to whatever tooth count will actually fit for around the same cost as a name brand aluminum rear sprocket. If it doesn't cross, you'll need to supply the bolt pattern/etc. I've used them for 39t Yamaha YZ250 sprockets, I think they did my 30T for my CRF70 with NSR50 wheels back in the day... they've done offset rear sprockets for my other sumo projects. Good kit.

Also: AFAM Sprocket Product finder | Discover Sprocket Solutions — Shop Now — AFAM is a fun bit I wasn't aware of. I wasn't able to find a 520 in their catalog that matches unfortunately.
