    Eliminated phone docking bracket.

I have heard of several people having the Stark phone fall out of the docking station while riding. I have been riding a couple times now, and have decided that I don't really need to carry the phone on the bike just to do a 20 minute moto. I simply make sure the bike is over 50% charge and...

The subframe mounted charge port is removed for the Gen 2 conversion.

Maybe. I will try to post pictures and dimensions, once I have the bike back together. 🤞

I believe removing the charger port from the subframe should help with air flow to the radiator too. It kinda blocks the natural air flow from the left side of the bike.

I don't have a scale, but I would imagine the Gen 2 would be slightly heavier, only because it now includes the charging port. So I will actually be removing the subframe mounted charging port. The Gen 2 conversion kit also includes a new wire harness, which will make the wiring cleaner.

Gen 2 breather. Obviously plugged off for shipping. Looks the same.

The breather port looks the same. My vent line does go up and over the radiator though. Vin number ends 3917. I typically over grease all of those areas, to prevent water from getting inside. I also keep the pressure washer away from such areas.

I wonder if the 15nm is too much? Anybody else running less torque?

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

Stark is sending me a new power unit, so I removed the original unit. Just because I was curious, I decided that I would try to remove the oil drain plug. Because I had the power unit out of the bike, I was able to clearly see the plug. The inside of the T30 hole had some of the yellow torque...

3 issues with my Stark Varg in 1 week.

They have requested me to place the old parts in the crates when I get the new parts. Then they will arrange for the pick up. They probably want them back to properly diagnose the issue. I'm fine with that.

What happened to the orange power wire?

3 issues with my Stark Varg in 1 week.

Just a little update on my 3rd issue. Stark sent me a new battery. I installed the battery, and still dead. Sent several videos to Stark, upon their request. Now they think the power unit is bad, and may have compromised the "new" battery. So they are now going to send me the entire Gen...

clicking sound when fork compresses if you have LHRB

Well, to be honest, there were several beer cans involved with that design. Empty beer cans. 😉😉

clicking sound when fork compresses if you have LHRB

This is what I did. Ran a zip tie through a short piece of rubber hose, around the brake line, back through the hose, then zip tied it around the bars. It allows for a little bit of movement, but keeps it away from the front brake line.

3 issues with my Stark Varg in 1 week.

To be honest with you, I worked in the motorcycle industry for years, and I just don't trust 75% of the mechanics that work at dealerships. I would rather have Stark diagnosed the issue, and I will do the wrench turning. I have been taking care of my own race bikes since 1985, so I'm...

3 issues with my Stark Varg in 1 week.

The bike was shipped directly to my house. I simply installed the front wheel, bars, and foot pegs. The bike worked fine, for about 10 minutes total.
