    The Alta Factory LHRB

What is it exactly you guys don’t like about the factory rear brake? I haven’t had as many bikes as most of you guys but this thing has the best brakes out of anything I’ve ridden.

    The Alta Factory LHRB

I thought about building myself one, but then I was reminded how badly those 500's vibrate and how the aluminum frames don't do much to suppress that. If thats actually the case, I don't know. I'm sure wilhem can confirm or deny that. I built a Junior-X clone for my wife and it was a lot of...

240v female to 110v male adapter

Nope, can’t be bridged. Check out the diagram posted above. There isn’t going to be any commercially available products. I’d go with what Scott at Elite put together for his Alta customers.

240v female to 110v male adapter

Ah, ok, I misunderstood your question. These adapter cords are really only applicable to using these chargers, and in the hands of the uninformed could cause damage/fires/etc. if used for anything else. That’s why you won’t find Alta putting anything on “paper” about them. Liability issues...

Rad Shrouds are murder on my knees

Hi Don, welcome to the forum. At this point we have no aftermarket options for the shrouds. Others have also expressed similar concerns about those ribs tearing up their knees. For now we are stuck coming up with our own band aid fixes till Alta or the aftermarket catches up.

240v female to 110v male adapter

The fast charger will come with the 240v plug. You would need to make an adapter if you want to plug into 110v though.

Change in the way Alta is advertising torque

Any theories why they are making a change from advertising the torque rating at the countershaft (after gear reduction) to actual motor torque?

    6.12.18 Big Announcement? -- 2019 Redshift EXR

Was the charger included with the ‘18 EX? Off the top of my head I thought it was. Is it included on the EXR? Could explain for a little more of the difference if it’s not. Still doesn’t seem like enough of a $ difference to continue selling people EX’s.

    6.12.18 Big Announcement? -- 2019 Redshift EXR

 Good one. I’d like to have one of those fancy graphics kits you guys tease us with on social media from time to time... are those actual bikes or is that all computer generated?

Ty Tremaine and Lyndon Poskitt to race in the Erzberg Rodeo

At the finish line when they were talking to Jarvis they were commenting on how his tires looked better than most other guys tires and attributing that to him not roosting all over the place tearing them to shreds. I think the Altas power probably had something to do with how that tire looked.
