And as someone that has an 80hp MX version, when I ordered my EX version I also ordered 80hp. Although the $1000 upgrade to the MX is WORTHLESS for the average joe for anything other than bragging rights (and $1000 saved is $1000 for riding gear), 80hp on the street is a whole different story...

Agreed. But refilling gas tanks vs swapping batteries is not the same thing.: Again, if a battery can be swapped, does it meet the definition: 6. The machine a rider leaves the Start Line with is the official machine of the rider for that event and may not be switched during the event.

The question was brought up last weekend, is swapping batteries meeting the rules of "finishing with the same bike that one leaves the starting line with" per FTR rules? A faulty battery can be swapped out whereas a faulty motor cannot be swapped out. Just saying...

The only issue with this class is that it is AA/A/B/C/Beginners all in the same class and on the same line.
