Definitely purchase the BRP chain slider - same model as KTM. Swapped mine from new, no problems in 1300 miles.

A lot less bond wires has to be a good thing when making a battery - less cells lowers the chance of something going wrong IMO - also these cells do not have a tab so will allow for more options to connect the cells together - I understand these cells will have better thermal dissipation...

In 50+ years I have never been interested in “Adulting” - they all seem so unhappy

I was having a lot of bearing rust issues in the wheels as I would get them wet trail riding and then the bike would sit for a week or two. I replaced the wheel bearings with ceramic ball type - pretty expensive but no more rust and seizing issues - highly recommend if you get your bike wet a lot

Really appreciate you posting information about the bike as I have been following it’s development for a long time. Any impressions on its performance and or additional information would be awesome. Have fun with it

Maybe I’m a little too optimistic with my charging time - my bike is probably the same charging time as yours - getting older to the memory is not great

The charger green light does not turn on so it doesn’t go through the full cell balance cycle - I just unplug when it’s att full bars on the display

I’d say when there is still 10% charge left in the battery the fast charger on generator will get the Alta battery full in about an hour - with a fan and cold water sprayed on the battery for cooling

i Thought it would charge the Alta battery in approximately one hour like the fast charger does on 240volt - wonder why it would take two hours to charge the Alta from this battery
