I'm attempting to install mine now. The Tusk peg doesn't rotate up all the way, only about 1/5 of the way. There is too much aluminum material on the backside of the peg mounting post and it's hitting the footpeg mounting bolt that goes into the frame. It seems they won't fit properly without...

Tusk pegs are 59 grams lighter each. Save 118grams by switching to these!

Just ordered a set, arriving tomorrow. I'll post my findings once i install them.

What are our options for replacement bar mounts? Our upper triple clamps have raised sections where the mounts bolt to it, and the bar mounts have ears that butt up against the raised section. I see a few KTM mounts are also this style. Are they compatible?

I raced there once many years ago and it was a fricken blast! The Alta would probably only last 20 minutes in those conditions, though. I'd love to see a race like that over here in southern California. Fiesta Island in San Diego would be perfect for it (at the opposition of the tree huggers)...

Just had the dealer order me one. $44.17. Hoping it gets here by Friday so i can have it for the weekend, otherwise i'll attempt to bend mine back into shape. Either riding Milestone on Saturday before Transworld Slamfest or Sunday i'll race the last round of the Transworld summer series. :cool:

Mine hasn't failed on me yet, but i had a crash over the weekend and the bracket tabs bent pretty badly, leaving the front fender way off center and angled down. After examining it, i agree with your "quick fix" suggestion of drilling another hole in the center and adding a bolt there for more...

So if i'm reading that correctly, the axle blocks from a 14-16 TC 250 will fit? I hate the old style chain adjusters and prefer to use the Bolt brand style. I have them on my KX450 and its so easy to adjust the rear axle/chain tension and the blocks stay in the swingarm when you remove the rear...

Someone got a clip of 1 of my holeshots today. This one was borderline a holeshot because that guy snuck inside on me. Gate full of 450's no problem!

My first gate drop aboard my MXR! Need to get used to starts on this bike. I came out of the gate way too easy. But still was able to pull off the win. :cool:
