Stark mobile charger is out !

6,6kW is ok for battery but not for wiring/charging socket/fuses in inverter (in theory inverter isnt needed for charging but in stark charging wiring is connected throught inverter i dont know, youtube video is posted 1year ago WITH 0 modifications - i think 5kW is max if you can bypass...

Stark mobile charger is out !

I said it before but again, I saw video from inverter/controller tear down - from charging port line there are 20A fuses battery is 100S so at 0% SoC it have about 320-330V - with 6,6kW even with 330V voltage you will need 20A - I am in 99% sure safe current for actual hardware will be about...

Stark mobile charger is out !

I think CCS will be possible as an adapter from stark charging port to ccs socket, unfortunanetly you will not get higher charging speeds (as I said before - due to wiring and fuses/ limitations) also that kind of adapter will be BULKY so even it can be even bigger than this external charger

Stark mobile charger is out !

unlikely - wires from charge port are 2,5mm^2 - also fuses in inverter are 20A, so even with two chargers you will be at 100% of capability of these, so maybe 16-18A with updated firmware also lets assume hardware/wiring is capable of more - then probably cells will be not, so 2C maybe will be...

Stark mobile charger is out !

type2 adapter to schuko isnt something new - you can buy one on aliexpress for about 15-20$ inside you have diode + 2-3 resistors and thats it, if you ride with friends you can always build custom adapter like TYPE2 to 3x or 6x schuko - with 22kW charging point you can charge 6 bikes...

Has anyone looked into aftermarket chargers?

yes, thats also the way, but then you bypassing safety features on inverter/controller, definanetly it is something for ppl who knows how they are doing

    Honda WN7 (Wind Naked, Fun)

7kWh will be disaster - my guess is for 10-11kWh about weight harley livewire has 15kwh with 245kg and eenrgica 18-19kWh with 260kg but these has OLD tech (2019) cells, new have 20-30% more capacity (maybe even 40%) zero is lighter on spec sheet,, but I think they dont include additional...

Interest poll: What kind of charger would get your money on the table?

HARDWARE: Fuses for charging in inverter are 20A, wires probabaly 2,5mm so 20A max charging in theory, in real world should be able to hold 16A, maybe 17-18A As battery has only ONE DC connector (for charging and discharging) for faster charing you will need to use that port - this means to...

Has anyone looked into aftermarket chargers?

yes, but even if you figure out software part then you have to look/check HARDWARE like charging port/socket + wire gauge + wiring inside battery to BMS, and maybe even BMS itself if it can handle more current
