DM me the name of the company, I have family here who are in the industry. I can check them out.
I've also rented a couple of classic cars out for shoots.
If they are legit, what your requesting is perfectly reasonable.
Also state clearly that you need cleared funds, before use.
Also, also...
The only real reason Stark is currently successful is the headline act... 80hp. If it had come out with say 50hp, people would have said "good fit and finish" then carried on with their lives and another start up would be struggling.
It's not going to be possible for the the big players to...
From Your Oct 30 post: "The problem stemmed from a loose connection in the throttle signal wire."
So this will be throttle number 3...
Your mechanic has 100% damaged something in the wiring and Stark is reading it as a signal fault. I'd guess a connector, pinched wire or similar.
Why would they need to after factory testing? They can remote in to anyone's bikes at any time, check logs and go from there... We are the Beta testers.
Would also explain the staged updates. High users first, so errors can be sorted before full roll out.
Email I received stated "main enhancements". Doesn't mean they didn't tweak the code a bit to improve efficiencies. But, I even tested the crawl function yesterday, and I'll be damned if I could feel a difference. But again I never use it.
Likely the fixes were for the SM.
You pay for their GPS? Waze and Wikiloc are the way to go!
They were referring to their ride mapping. When you look at the route you rode after the fact. Can't confirm or deny improvements.
Righto. I thought fuck it and ask Stark directly what was in the update.
About the most boring answer ever...
Main:
-Improving GPS for ride mapping
-Improving lock feature.
Likely bug fixes as well.
My imagined regen was almost certainly a result of reading here, then the day before the...
EICMA is a trade show, so alot of what you'll see are concepts/preproduction. Most of these smaller companies are looking for partnership in one way or another, be it importing, manufacturing etc. The bikes are there to get investors in the door.
Start with shutting the bike all the way down. Then the phone. Have a coffee (very important).
I used to have a similar issue, got in the habit of full shut down when parked at home (bike not phone). Nothing since.
Today's was 100% mountain roads. (I live in the mountains on the outskirts of Barcelona) Tight switch backs etc. Think hill climbs with big elevations.
Tomorrow will be the real test. Going with a few friends up the mountain trails. Very tight technical and extremely steep in places. Hard...
Don't really know how else to describe it... progressive maybe?
I've had my regen set at 25% for a few months now. I wanted more of an engine brake feel (I don't actually care about charging the battery for how I ride).
But it was still very on/off. Since the update, it feels more natural.
