    Jbi fork revalve review

Did you have them do the shock too?

    Grind down steering stops?

No! The EX has fixed tabs. So the MX has adjustable stops (bolts) like KTMs? I wonder why they changed that? I could sure use a little more turning radius (at times). mg

    Good advice, thanks.

    Grind down steering stops?

My EX doesn't have as much turning radius as I'd like. I came down some super tight switchbacks and could've used a bit more. Has anyone tried grinding down the steering stops to get more turning radius? It looks like there's room without the fork hitting anything. Thoughts?

Owner's Review Varg EX suspension. Did you go Hard or Mid?

Yeah, I took the charger out of the stand, put some handles on it and got a lift stand. Much better.

Owner's Review Varg EX suspension. Did you go Hard or Mid?

I hear what you're saying but its not really an issue for me. My KTM 500 weighs 2 lbs more than my 350. But the 350 feels 20lbs lighter due to less inertia and reciprocating weight. Huge difference in feel. Other than the wheels and running gear, the Stark has no reciprocating weight. To me it...

Brand New Stark Varg EX Won’t Start — No LED, No Charging, No Bluetooth, No Response

That blows! They need to step up their customer service. Luckily, other than a phone that can't keep track of mileage (something one might consider important on an electric bike with limited range) mine's been good. Hope you get resolution soon. Maybe take it to local dealer if there's one nearby?

Phone app did not record my ride

Stark hit me up with instructions to do a force shut down and restart on the phone. I did it, but it's still not recording properly. Worse, it doesn't like letting other tracking apps running in the background.

Brand New Stark Varg EX Won’t Start — No LED, No Charging, No Bluetooth, No Response

My bad. I just went and tired it. It does indeed start and stop.

Brand New Stark Varg EX Won’t Start — No LED, No Charging, No Bluetooth, No Response

I'm pretty sure the button on the right handlebar is just a kill switch. Necessary for U.S. street legal regs.

    Stark Varg EX range

A subricriber wrote into Motocross Action magazine asking if they 'were against' electric motos as they hadn't tested the Stark. They had several key points (can't hear them on the track, not allowed in all venues) but their main hangup, understandably was the range. At the end of their...

Does 2% really mean 2% or is there a "reserve" in the battery?

Ok, that's good. But what about the original question. Is the discharge linear, or when you get towards 'empty' will it go further as a reserve to get you back to the truck? Thanks.

Stark won't send me a rear handbrake!

That blows. If you can't get resolution from Stark, I'll bet there is a Stark owner who got the hand brake who would be willing to sell it - hopefully on the cheap.

Does 2% really mean 2% or is there a "reserve" in the battery?

I never said I was riding by myself. And I do carry a tow strap (always have - and I've been on both ends of it, on other bikes). I'm running 29 hp and 25% regen on mode 1. 32 hp and 35% regen on mode 2 and I toggle between them.

Does 2% really mean 2% or is there a "reserve" in the battery?

Yikes. Well I didn't run it that low on purpose. The ride just dictated it. I'd like to finish with 25% remaining, but I guess battery technology isn't there yet.

Does 2% really mean 2% or is there a "reserve" in the battery?

As my battery dwindles towards the end of the ride and I start looking for the truck, range anxiety starts to set in. For the record, I've done several 35+ mile pretty hard-core single-track desert rides with hills, sand washes, whoops, rocks, cactus - pretty much all kinds of varied terrain...

Owner's Review Varg EX suspension. Did you go Hard or Mid?

True, but the Stark EX, is supposed to set up for enduro/off-road, more so than table tops. Perhaps they missed the mark if everyone is sending them out for service.
