    Varg production numbers / VIN

or maybe that's where the 100 million of more investment is going. More titanium printers. 🤷‍♂️

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

Good points. But its still the biggest market. So not unlikely that they'd sell only to the US from that factory. Would save on shipping and tariffs.

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

"injecting capital from an invite-only round of existing owners with strategic value to the firm" Its existing owners, so likely just getting money for a new factory. my 3 guesses: - New US factory - New model factory - combination of both

    Varg production numbers / VIN

seems ok as a ballpark number, but not all parts are as large or as intricate as the sabre. Its understandable that the huge block of 188 sabres took 248 hours. But maybe 1 sabre is something like 4+ foot pegs if we take into account the volume of titanium, and may "print" faster because it...

    Honda WN7 (Wind Naked, Fun)

yea you're right. I doubt they'll do any big changes to the current bike besides slapping on some SM wheels. It's nice to hope for in the future. I'd expect the Royal Enfield bikes will get there before a Stark branded bike with type 2 and DC charging becomes available.

    Honda WN7 (Wind Naked, Fun)

this was refreshing to see. Stark SM needs this.

    Stark range video(s)

Easy to see why with some quick physics. edit: those copy paste formulas came out with terrible formatting. basically 2 main forces, rolling resistance and drag. rolling resistance is linear but drag from wind is cubed with speed. 30 km/h (8.3 m/s): ≈ 0.40 kW 60 km/h (16.7 m/s): ≈ 1.74 kW 80...

    Stark range video(s)

If you keep it under 50mph (80kph) you should get close to 1km for every 1%. 100km or 60 miles. That's my experience with my bike riding to and from work, a 52km round trip on 50kph - 80 kph roads and occasionally ripping 100kph bursts to get around traffic.

Poll BIG BEAUTIFUL POLL: A big fixed battery vs. a small swappable battery

Good poll idea. Its very detailed on some of the specifics though. I would keep it simpler to find if people prefer 1. a larger battery/range 2. a lighter bike 3. fixed or swappable battery. Obviously I would take the best of all, bigger battery, lighter bike and swappable battery. But...

    EX Custom iOS/Android App

That's a lot of airtime. for every 7 miles you've been in the air for a whole minute haha.

The big Stark Varg supermoto information topic

Yes the stock front brake disc is thinner than the 320 brake disc which I got for SM so i moved the whole wheel 1mm away with a thin spacer, I'll remove material from the brake caliper adapter eventually.

    EX Custom iOS/Android App

That does sound like a challenge. I would prefer to use the stock Stark phone to run it on, purely because the mount holds the phone so well onto the bike. The Varg app is aggressive, it won't even let me turn bluetooth off, just turns it straight back on.

The "lock bike" feature isn't reliable

I have the same problem. The only way I can reliably lock the bike is to lock it while the bike is powered on and in neutral. and then turn the bike off and take away the phone. The app crashes a lot, and when it boots back up it will unlock the bike if you have the phone unlocked, regardless of...

SM wheels lowers the bike a lot. See how it feels for you before changing the link.

The big Stark Varg supermoto information topic

It might. 83mph is 134kph. I've that's not far off max speed with stock gearing and wheels. His SM setup means he is actually moving approx 20% faster. (33.3% faster through gear ratio change, minus some for wheel circumference change) Old: 12/48=0.2512/48 = 0.2512/48=0.25 New...

I found there was some slight rub so I used 1.6mm M8 washers to space the rear sprocket a little further out.
  18. D

    The Gray Ghost

Yea i did the same. Excel rims and haan hubs. Really happy with them. Did you space out the rear sprocket to avoid chain rub or did the wheel builder do that?

    The Gray Ghost

Yea looks good in that picture. Nice bike. I guess it's just up to personal taste too. I changed my last exc from stock 6 days graphics to plain black plastics cause I thought that looked sick. Lots of younger kids in Norway felt the opposite.

    The Gray Ghost

Every 1 tooth change at the front is equal to approximately 3 at the rear. 15 does work although really tight. I asked an LLM to work out the speed change. New gear ratio 14/45 gives approximately 25% higher speed than stock, but the tyre circumference diff of the SM tyre reduces the speed...
