    Talaria Komodo

I really wanted one of these but seeing some of the issues pretty happy I went with a conversion, modern motocross bikes are almost indestructible.

Altis Sigma OMega | 144V 60KW Electric Motocross Bike

Another new bike, super high power output - if they can keep pricing at $7,500 thinking they will sell a bunch. https://revrides.com/products/altis-sigma-mega-electric-motocross-bike-racing

HadesOmega's WR250E Trail Attack Bike Build

That’s pretty depressing, if Gritshift replaces the controller recommend going for the V3. I have around 100 miles on my X9000 V3 with 96 volt battery and so far no issues.

HadesOmega's WR250E Trail Attack Bike Build

I purchased these radiator braces from Devol for the RMZ250 so that the radiator shrouds have something to bolt to.

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

Bummer the build process is fun, another bike in the quiver never hurts.

That bike is super cool, any advice on lowering like getting the shock and forks.

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

One other reason I built a bike is I can swap batteries - mine isn’t quick swap and takes 5-7 minutes. I really didn’t like waiting to charge when I had the Alta. The Stark had great range but I wish you could just remove a few bolts and swap a battery on it.

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

I do really similar riding, ironically also an M.E. - I had an Alta and it was just too heavy - when the Stark came out it is the same weight so that drove me to a build. I got a lot of help from Don during the process and if you like to build things it’s actually pretty interesting. You are...

HadesOmega's WR250E Trail Attack Bike Build

Thanks for posting these videos, really helped me install and set up my new EBMX X9000 V3 controller. I have the controller working but want to install street legal wiring, headlight, tail/break light and signals. I have a Chinese wiring harness from my old FarDriver controller. Did you figure...

    E-Bay Build

My Christmas present to myself was an EBMX X9000 controller. Got it installed and it is fantastic. The X9000 produces almost no heat on the heat sink, my old FarDriver was always hot to the point you could could burn your fingers. It’s like a whole new bike, super crisp throttle response and...

    CR-E “250” Project

I went for 96 volt thinking I could drop the power level to conserve battery. In the end I think 96 volt consumes more energy as my range isn’t the same as 72 volt. So if you are looking for range I think 72 volt is the better option.

    2020 Honda CRF 450 Build

Hey Dave, nice build, fun to do these conversions. Who do you purchase EBMX X9000 from and do you have any set up tips. Second thing, those are some impressive range numbers. I have a 96volt x 45 amp/hr battery and a FarDriver ND961000 controller. Off road I get about 20-25 miles and on...

General mountain biking as a cross training for motocross

This is a good thread. I think mountain biking and dirt bike riding are complementary. In my experience you can focus on building your aerobic stamina when mountain biking in much less demanding circumstance, meaning you are going much slower and way less risk riding a mountain bike. Mountain...

    Don's lightweight conversions

A bit of a downer that tracks may or may not allow e-bikes. Rules are a little looser in US but my closest track no longer allows any e-bikes, they claim there insurance does not cover that risk. I know some people who are close to the situation and apparently they have had complaints that ICE...
