Stark Varg (EX) SM Conversion Kickstand

I'm using the EX stock stand. The bike sits more upright yes, but still has enough lean i'm not so worried about it falling. I do park it next to a wall at my job though just incase there is a strong gust of wind.

Ouch. that's an expensive circuit board.

Suggestion: Cable connection for phone. I'm so sick of waiting for bluetooth pairing at times.

Then they wouldn't be able to sell their new 7kW charger. Also this could lead to problems where someone plugs 2 chargers in next to each other on the same circuit and ends up drawing too much current and tripping that circuit. its almost better to force them to use a known 32 amp course.

    Fast 7kW charger

Yea the charger is drawing around 30 amps through a single 240V phase. So the only reason they are using the 3 phase plug is for the higher amps. Looks like they wanted a simpler design.

    Fast 7kW charger

I was sent the manual from Stark. I'll upload it here. There is the detail on the US plug too.

    Fast 7kW charger

32 amps make sense now because for some reason its only drawing power from 1 phase. The charger also comes with a status screen (touch screen)

    Fast 7kW charger

Farah (Stark Future) Mar 20, 2026, 17:34 GMT+1 Hi David, The charger is compatible across all bikes; however, it is a fast charger and requires a specific electrical setup to work properly.

    Fast 7kW charger

The page for the charger mentions charging the EX in one hour. I sent news of the charger to my local track, as the idea is the track will purchase a few of these. I got the question back if this would work for the MX models as well, including the 1.0. I assume that it would but asked SAM for...

Stark Varg EX - Warp 9 SM (Front) Wheel Fitment Question

if you loosen the bolts on the fork guards and then hold them as far away from the tyre as possible before re-tightening you can gain some clearance. But otherwise what you have is normal. those fork guards were made to clear an MX tyre and not a SM tyre. You can cut some of the fork guard away...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

"Volts jolt current kills" is the saying I've always had in my head in this regard. But its also the amount of energy (volts x current) and the current paths that determine what damage is done.

    LHRB kinda weak/soft

yea go and have a look in this thread EX Custom iOS/Android App It shows battery data from the VCU which isnt displayed in the regular app. So with this app you could check it yourself, or otherwise Stark will be able to see this data if you report your issue of limited range. Up to you which...

    LHRB kinda weak/soft

I would look up the SVAG app thread here on this site and download his app. You can see the status of your battery cells in it. If you're getting such terrible range there is probably something wrong with your battery. I would report it to Stark.

    LHRB kinda weak/soft

That seems super low. I get just under 100km or ~60 miles riding my supermoto setup to and from work on 50 - 80 kmph roads.

    LHRB kinda weak/soft

Yep, can confirm. rear brake locks up no problems on my 2025 EX. It's so much easier to modulate the braking power with your finger than your boot too.

    Stark throttle/hand grip

changing its orientation will do exactly the same thing as changing your grip position. closed and wide open will still be the same distance apart. I too would like a lets say 60 degrees rotation instead of a 90 degree rotation (or whatever it currently is). I find that if I overgrip so my wrist...

Thanks, good advice. I'm about to do this tonight. Getting the bike prep'd for the new season.

yep, add heat. I learnt from a young age that I could save myself a lot of time, sweat and tears (every time I damaged something) by adding a bit of heat.

Took some pics of the stock front brake pads on the EX for anyone that needs to know. BRM11EHH 4708 07.8617.51 and 4707 07.8617.61 What did you end up getting @Upinsmoke57 ?
