    You can use a tool like this to get the job done. Just gotta remove the fork cap, find the top of the fork oil pool within the fork, then set it 20mL deeper than that and suck away. Just suck it 'til it's good. :D :D :D

    I'd argue it's all above board, analogous to say, building your own car, or a gun, for that matter. You can create any serial (surreal?) number you want, for those particulars, so long as it's novel in comparison to all the other cars/guns, you've built. Why? That's why (not you, the DMV).

    You could always stamp your own numbers onto the blank portion below the manufacturer part number on that engine case. A simple metal stamping kit would do the trick. Why? ? That's why. :D

    I wouldn't be surprised to find that delivery actually moves ahead of estimate by virtue of the fact many people can't/won't cough up the cash in time as noted in the original purchase agreement.
