Xtrig PreLoad Adjuster for rear shock

correction: the shock absorber lower rubber guide is the bottleneck for the xtrig and Locking ring installation. Normally you have to dismantle the shock, i have ground the diameter of the ring at one point, so the xtrig slides over the complete shock, especially over the rubber guide ring. For...

Varg EX has different sound to Varg MX. EX howls more and is significantly louder

It is impossible that the gear ratio is the reason, because I have both Stark MX and EX geared with 13-47. The MX is 14-47 original in Europe and the EX is 12-48. Even pitches with 114 chain links are not good for wear, so I always use odd pitches. And 12 teeth on the sprocket is not enough...

Varg EX has different sound to Varg MX. EX howls more and is significantly louder

Oil in both is new 75W90. Similar chain and gearing. should sound nearly same. But EX is louder. And smells a little burnt after a harder ride. I have to check again.

Varg EX has different sound to Varg MX. EX howls more and is significantly louder

Stark would like a sound video. I'll do it, I don't think it's that easy, it should be without wind noise. Or I don't do this when driving, but when stationary, maybe even just the engine without chain/drive. The howling occurs from about 3,000 revs

Xtrig PreLoad Adjuster for rear shock

mine YZF is from 2020, you would have to see if the shock absorber is the same. But the important thing is: I cut into the lower ring so that the Xtrig ring can be easily installed without removing the shock.

Varg EX has different sound to Varg MX. EX howls more and is significantly louder

I have a Varg MX and an EX. The new EX has a distinctly different engine sound, it howls more and is louder. Especially audible at constant medium and higher revs. It's definitely not the transmission or other noises. Gearbox oil change after 3 hours, but still the identical howling sound. My...

Switch off light on Varg EX

the plug is already connected to 12V before the headlight, so everything that has to do with the headlight and the indicator is operated with 12V.

Switch off light on Varg EX

I would like to be able to switch the lights on and off on the Stark Varg EX. Unfortunately, due to EU regulations, the daytime running lights must be permanently lit. The connecting cable is a 5-pin HIGO plug, three pins are for the indicator and two thicker pins are for the light. Has anyone...

    Stark handguards

The Husqvarna handguards probably don't need any modifications at all and should fit perfectly. In my case, however, they were previously fitted to a Yamaha YZ450F and came from there to the Stark. That's why I had to make a small modification to the screw length. But only because they were on...

My experience with Stark service has been fantastic. My charger stopped working and within 3 days I had a new one by express delivery. Sensational. No silly questions, no arguing and endless waiting for decisions and dispatch of parts. One email and 3 days later a new charger arrived. Absolutely...

Xtrig PreLoad Adjuster for rear shock

Yes, I installed the xtrig adjuster without disassembling the shock. The diameter of the bump rubber guide was too large to remove the original adjustment rings and install the Xtrig adjuster. I therefore cut a small recess in the bump rubber guide so that the conversion works without...

Xtrig PreLoad Adjuster for rear shock

I converted the rear shock absorber with a preLoad adjuster from Xtrig. I removed the two adjustment rings, now adjusting the sag is child's play and the xtrig is also self-locking. In conjunction with the motool slacker sag device, you can adjust the preload and thus the static sag and the...

    13 Tooth front Sproket

I've heavily geared mine to 13 teeth front and 49 teeth rear. Mine was 14-47 MX stock version. I find this makes it more controllable in wheelspin and the top speed is more realistic at 149.3km/h (92.7mph) compared to almost 167.6km/h (104.1mph). The 13-49 combination is also better for same...
