Some ICE riders really hate EV bikes

That's good to hear. I think most riders can see the the many positives too. I for one love rolling up next to other riders for a quick chat without having to cut the engine. Also not having to sit on something producing so much heat. Let the haters keep on hating :ricky:

Some ICE riders really hate EV bikes

yea 100% The new generation is much more used to vehicles that are electrically powered and new technology in general. To the point that if you pull them off their electric bicycles and give them one with with a smoke sputtering motor, they'd likely complain that its noisy, smoky, slow and "old...

    Stark Future NEXT NEW UPDATES

Hi, any more feedback on this map. My thoughts are that at 8k revs you're at or over half the top speed 70kmh + Have you played around dropping the 10HP to 6k or 5k RPM and noticed any good or bad changes.

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

I just went back and watched the video they release. it says they are making traction control available "soon" to all alpha owners. I'll let you know when I feel it kick in. It's tied to the alpha version, not a subscription it seems. Edit: It seems some people after upgrading to firmware 1.8...

Are MX tracks you ride at adapting to electric dirtbikes?

Yes there are some standard EV chargers at the track and multiple fast DC chargers around the industrial park. I'm in Norway near a major city. We have fast chargers all over the place.

Are MX tracks you ride at adapting to electric dirtbikes?

Oslo & Nordre Follo. Great track, officially opened last year. I used to ride at Lunner, Lier and a few others around Oslo area but never out at Kongsberg.

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

Have you noticed any improvement with the new traction control. I guess it depends what version of firmware your bike is on now, maybe not all have it yet

TRACKS Starks new lap timing software

Fair, it would be nice to find a good lap timer though. As I mentioned, I tried to use some of the free ones. Not sure what they were all called but it was at least 4 different gps lap timing apps. Couldn't get any of them to work well on the Stark phone as once in the background they stopped...

TRACKS Starks new lap timing software

It might be cheaper to just pay for pro for the MX season though, then cancel it. I can understand why its a subscription from a usage perspective. Its a data cost for Stark. Anyway i'll give this 3 month trial a go and see if its worth paying for after that.

Are MX tracks you ride at adapting to electric dirtbikes?

These are the new Stark fast chargers they are buying which connect into standard 3 phase outlets. However this track is in a unique situation, being that its new and has been built with EV's in mind. It's located next to a major industrial area and has access to a lot of power.

Are MX tracks you ride at adapting to electric dirtbikes?

My local track allows us to charge for free and is purchasing some of the new fast chargers. No word about if they will charge a fee for their use yet. I would expect it to be reasonably priced.

TRACKS Starks new lap timing software

Yea it could be. But it wasn't so clear to me because they called it a pro data pack which is different to its original branding. The trial period is also longer.

TRACKS Starks new lap timing software

With the spilt timing for laps? maybe they just updated the UI, or perhaps its just a marketing push for "pro features" as Lost suggested

TRACKS Starks new lap timing software

Seems like a good feature. Ive been messing around trying to get other gps timer apps to work but it seems none of the free ones will work for me. This natively on the bikes phone looks like what im after. The video mentions a 3 month trial of a pro data pack. I wonder what the cost of this pack...

    Varg ex supermoto conversion

yes for sure. measure the diameter of your tyre for the most accurate result. regardless it should be within the 15-20% range for most 17 inch SM wheels.
  16. D

    Varg ex supermoto conversion

Yes, my goal was to not have to break the chain when converting from SM to dirt. So I actually prefer to run a 14T sprocket. going from 12T to 14 pulls the rear tyre closer then 48t down to 45t at the back gives you some more space. Then i just leave the 14 on when going to dirt for convenience...

    Varg ex supermoto conversion

when I asked GTP back in the day I got closer to 20% taking into account the change in tyre size and gearing from stock. so I use this as my rule of thumb

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Fair. For clarity though, I have not blamed the engineers. Rather the team which would include the management directing it.

Stark varg support is the worst

I love your selection of bikes. If I had room for more bikes these are the 2 others I would have. I used to ride trails back in Aus and had to turn off my WR450 at traffic lights I hit heading out or coming home, otherwise it would overheat fast.

    2025 KTM Freeride E

My previous 2014 six days 250 EXC is likely be the last KTM I'll have owned now that I've experienced what the Stark can do. I only wish there was more competition to push this tech further, faster.
