Advanced Modes: What Are You Cooking Up?

I agree. I think it is a real shame they put this feature behind the subscription. They claim the subscription cost is to cover the mobile data connection, but this feature does not use any data so why is it locked behind the subscription fee? I think they know its the main feature people want...

Advanced Modes: What Are You Cooking Up?

I do not trust Sam. My subscription ended in October but at that time you could only adjust the regen and power curves. I haven't tinkered with it at all since then.

    LHRB install difficulty?

I'm really not sure why they provided a redundant master cylinder instead of the brake light cable, but I'm sure you can't route it as is. I had a hard enough time getting just the brake line routed. I ordered mine with the bike and it came with the cable and without the extra master cylinder...

    LHRB install difficulty?

You should have received a read brake switch for the lever that functions the same way as the front brake: it clips into the brake lever housing and uses one of the currently unused ports under the phone the same port/plug the foot brake used. Part number is SEX1-BR-RWH-80 Be careful routing...

    LHRB install difficulty?

Maybe I'm just an impatient SOB, but it never made sense to me to force air bubbles to go against gravity. I use a syringe to push the fluid from the bottom up and find it much easier and faster. You can get the syringe you need at tractor supply or similar.

    Dealer purchase vs Direct

Yes you will get better support when you buy from the local dealer. I did not and when I went to get inspected they made this more than clear to me. Now that some warranty work must go through authorized dealers I would recommend getting one from them to ensure when a big issue happens you have...

    Air Time Stat

I noticed the Varg app updated last time I went for a ride and this stat screen is a nice addition, however the Air Time can't be right. I've only done dual sport and trails rides, no mx, and it claims I've spent 25 minutes in the air! I'm guessing this should be in seconds, but am wondering if...

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

When did you order it? My order date for the warrantied part was July 17th. I wonder if they are still selling the inventory of old ones unless the order goes through warranty. If you placed your order after mine I would complain to support.

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

According to my parts order history that is correct.

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

Just so yall know Stark has improved their bracket finally. I am not sure when but I put in a warranty claim for mine in July and was pleasantly surprised to receive this from them (pics below). I haven't tried a kickstand turn or anything crazy but it seems much more robust.

Charger not paying attention to charge power slider?

You might want to re-install app updates. That's what they told me to do when I had this issue and re-installing updates fixed a few other bugs I was seeing in the app too. https://electricdirtriders.com/threads/charging-settings-dont-apply.4276/

The "lock bike" feature isn't reliable

There are two different issues that can happen with different remedies: 1) The phone is still paired but won't connect because it is asleep. The power button tap will wake up the phones bluetooth for that issue. 2) The phone becomes unpaired from the bike completely. If this happens the power...

    Advanced Mode Power

    - Click modes > advanced modes > Select a mode to customize it. - The power curve has a bunch of dots on it, press and drag to move them where you want them. - The lighting bolt icon switches between the power and regen maps for the mode you have selected - Hit the save icon to save your changes...

The "lock bike" feature isn't reliable

If you need to reconnect the phone to the bike don't attempt to do it manually just restart the phone. I dont think its possible to connect like youre pairing a headset or something. You have to let the app do it on start up.

The "lock bike" feature isn't reliable

The thing you're describing is the power button on the Arkenstone. "Blank screen button" gave me a good chuckle. You "blanking the screen" puts the phone into sleep and "unblanking" it is waking it back up which effectively activates the bluetooth if it was not currently active due to being in a...

Does 2% really mean 2% or is there a "reserve" in the battery?

This is what I think would be a bad idea just given what I've read. The battery really shouldn't get bricked if it fully drains. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that is a Stark issue not a battery tech issue. I'm with you on trying to save 20-25% of the battery when planning a ride to avoid...

Does 2% really mean 2% or is there a "reserve" in the battery?

I dont think that is a good idea. The owners manual says not to let the battery drain completely under the storage section and I have read a few cases where people who did let it drain completely had to have their battery replaced. I am not sure if that issue has been resolved but I would go by...

    Charging Settings Don't Apply

I reset the app again and re-applied the updates and it is now working correctly. I'm not sure if this made the difference but on the second try I force closed the app after uninstalling the updates and before trying to re-apply them. I don't have a video to share but here's the process the...
