When I was looking for an Alta I read the MXR had better forks...and newer is (usually)/always better...so that is why I started looking for 2018/2019 MXRs.

I sometimes do Airbnb’s when I travel to .de for work (& an easier/shorter walk to Octoberfest) ....and the apartments I have stayed in have had a combo heat/air con unit.

I will be paying him something per day or per year. He asked me what I thought was fair.....and I didn’t know. So had to educate myself on his costs to determine what a fair amount would be. Philip explained the capacity of the battery.....so I am now all set.

Excellent computer sleuthing work! Re: USB cable that does data or not I lost many hours one night debugging this one (for a different project)....good to learn once & hopefully never repeat the mistake. ;-)

I purchased the CAN/usb adapter linked in the forum so can not help debug this one. I also have not updated the firmware on either of my bikes. Sorry.
