1 Year maintenance Steering

After 1 year of hand washing my Varg with garden hose and mild soap, my lower steering bearing was trashed. I replaced with Xtrig Triple Clamp Rocs Pro Stark Varg 23-25 SKU: 40900012
The upper washer did not have a good seal or seem to keep water out.

Same here. Also the layer of grease was very thin. Everywhere though, also on the rear linkage and swingarm.
This is my first new bike so i never knew how little grease OEM's put there. Some other riders told me all the brands have it like this.

Whenever i buy a used bike it gets a good amount of grease there wich lasts at least a year, but not considered that for a new bike.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm guessing those are not the stock triples nor the stock forks, correct? If you don't mind, what's the last 4 of your VIN?

Awesome, thank you for that. I was only asking as there are others who have shown rust issues elsewhere on the bike because of lack of grease, and then I took mine apart only to find that it was actually very well greased - my VIN #8036.

BTW - Those forks look BADASS! After seeing yours, I'd buy as set of those tomorrow if I wasn't thinking about flipping my Varg.
