12 adaptors for the Alta “fast charger”

We build wall outlet adaptors for the Alta “fast charge” unit. First, you must remove the NEMA L14-30 plug that is on the unit, and replace it with a NEMA L6-20 plug. You only need a simple screwdriver and 5-10 minutes for this.

Here are the adaptors that are available:

1) Adaptor "A" for RV parks, new clothes dryers, stoves and ovens (NEMA 14-60, 14-50, 14-30, 14-20)

Any chance you have additional detailed pics of the interior wiring? I had a cable pull loose and need to determine the wiring for the green/white/red plug configuration.

If you remove the NEMA L14-30 plug, and install a NEMA L6-20 plug, then you can use all of our adaptors.

Adapter M - NEMA 5-15 plug to NEMA L6-20 receptacle

Someone needs to make a batch of NEMA 5-15 to L14-30 adapters and NEMA L14-30 to 5-15 adapters. Although, with only 200 new bikes left the sales will be very slow.

Because they really need just one adapter. Not two adapters, a new plug, and the EE knowledge that is required to install it.

They don’t need just two adaptors... they need 1, 2, 3, or up to 12, based on their particular circumstances. That’s how we ended up with 12 adaptors to offer.

I’m certianly not insulting anybody. Obviously, if you really want to build adaptors, please do. Our adaptors are for people who aren’t excited to run down to Home Depot and buy all the bits to build adaptors, then spend a bunch of time doing it. Replacing the plug takes 5 minutes... you don’t even have to strip wires, since it’s already done for you. Again, literally 5 minutes. I have no idea how that is insulting... again, if you want to build adaptors, have fun!

My point was, if they have to go to the store to buy one plug, it's no additional effort to pick up the two other items needed to just make their own adapter... If they have the willingness to buy any parts to do the job themselves.

What if we offered several of these adaptors, with the NEMA L6-20 plug included (the plug that you need to swap), for a lower price than you can buy just the parts from Home Depot?

Lower cost, PLUS no time wasted going to Home Depot.
