18 vs 19 MXR

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 2018 and the 2019 MXR. I found one of each brand new and it’s $1300 more for the 19. Is it worth it?

I would assume the 19 is more likely to have a battery produced after the code 36 problem was identified and corrected, thus minimizing the risk of buying a machine with that defect.

Aside from that concern, I'm not really sure there is an argument to pay more for an identical machine.

But I'm an EXR rider, not MXR...

If you can get the last 3 digits of the VIN for each bike, there are guys here that can tell you if there will be a propensity for problems for the respective models.
