Just noticed we just hit the one thousand member mark! šŸ˜Ž
Still surprises me the amount of dirt bike people that have never heard of these bikes, or are just now learning of them. Such a great machine!

Been pretty quiet around here lately! Whereā€™s everyone at?

I have been thinking about expanding the forum to more explicitly welcome other electric dirt bikes. Lots of street electric bikes out there already, but here we appear to be more interested in dirt, motocross, enduro, trail riding..There are already some new dirt bikes out there, and more are coming, and pretty soon we will be talking about them here. Anyone has any ideas how to include new bikes but still preserve our Alta origins?

Somehow, we need to get manufacturers to send us new bikes to test out and review. Then we can pass them around to various members to test, and give our opinion on how they really stack up to an Alta, because we are the experts in the field.

And free merch. We need that too.

I nominate myself for crash test dummy duty.

Is there any way to expand the title and still retain the domain name? Say ā€œAlta Owners & recreation EV forumā€? Or ā€œEV blah blah home of the Alta Owners Forumā€? It would be good to prepare for the inevitable 2 wheeled EV expansion before someone else. Already have a good member base. Maybe poll for a different title? We still need to remain visible as the sole place for all things Alta.

That would probably just be a second domain name that forwards to this one.
