This is a 2018 EX I’m the original owner of.

The “inverter early throttle” code comes up intermittently so I’m afraid to take it out and get stuck. I’m 99% positive it just needs a firmware update as I bought this right when they came out and never performed any updates.

I rode it around the street a couple miles this week to try and get the code to come up again but it never did. But it could pop up any time, who knows.

I tried the whole home brew updating process but just couldn’t figure it all out.

It has 27 hours and 308 miles on the ODO. I always kept the battery at safe storage levels and generally took care of the bike well.

It has the Rage blinkers and fender eliminator kit installed but I have all the stock parts.

I also have a 2nd set of stock 18/21" wheels wrapped in MT90s

I would suggest you’d be capable of updating the firmware

I have the same model (EX), and it seems like a great deal.

Yep, I was trying to figure out a price with the unknowns this bike has.

I’m sure it just needs the firmware update anyways. It’s never thrown any other codes or done anything weird.

100% Needs the updated inverter firmware to remove the throttle fault. Ideally throwing the entire FW package will update the bike entirely but up to you/new owner.

Thanks for the info, maybe I’ll free up some time and see if I can get this multitool going again.
