Finally got the battery apart with the dead module reading. Attaching image of the software reading before disassembling. Module on bottom of battery acts as if it was not in there as software shows. Took apart and found a little moisture in the bottom of the cover. Popped off the module cover and saw some interesting stuff. Pack reads 61.2 volts. I did also test from main connection but only got 1 module reading. I'm not confident in going any further than this. Also, thought I'd see all modules voltage combined but not seeing that.5677.jpeg5678.jpeg5682.jpegIMG_20200203_130314118.jpgIMG_20200203_130309784.jpg5680.jpeg5681.jpegIMG_20200203_130624419.jpg5679.jpegIMG_20200203_130546406.jpgIMG_20200203_134551872_MP.jpgIMG_20200118_114258760.jpg.. So, @OneLapper or @Mark911 or anyone, any ideas? Owner wants to get back on his Alta!

That PWB gonna require major surgery as it appears to have zapped/corroded some trace clear off the board! After that I'd be concerned about cell damage. Well, someone had to be the first to experiment with PCB/cell replacement. Yours looks like a good candidate. If you do a module swap instead let me know as I'd be interested in your failed module.

That's probably the earliest R pack I've seen out of a bike. Whats the VIN just out of curiosity? Also check that bag and see if there are any nicks/cuts in it that would have left moisture inside the pack. That's a mess.

@Mark911 Are you aware of any R pack modules out there? I am going to remove the module tomorrow and @OneLapper is going to take a look at it.

Nope, Onelapper is the only person I'm aware of horse trading R modules. Those things are scarce as hen's teeth. Of course, I don't see how any of the damage shown would lead to having the whole module not report. That's more of a SPI/CAN Bus interface issue I'd think.

In fact, I recently helped another AOF member get his dead bike (which included a busted 12v system and TWO missing modules) back to running condition again. We did it totally by texting back and forth.

yes and a huge thanks btw(its running awesome since), but that brd is what controls the modules and voltage shown in the multitool and display. With the help of @Mark911 I figured out how simple these bikes are actually built.
