That's why I switched to top handles years ago. I have the Milwaukee and I really like it but I think the new husky 540i and the Stihl 220 might be better. If someone does decide to get the Milwaukee don't waste your time with anything smaller than the 12ah batteries. Of course all those are gonna be $$$$ compared to the atlas you already have.

Top handle saws would help with hitting it. Milwaukee makes one that's pretty stout.

They are really proud of those though. I have a lot of Milwaukee tools for my job, and they are great tools, but they sometimes get carried away on the pricing.
