Here is the model I made for replacement front fender mount. There is an extra body in there which represents the 2x4 aluminumn tubing I cut it from.

I did not start making them for other people.
If i had to make just 1 set, it would be around 200$ + shipping.
I would need to make at least 10 sets to get the price closer to 100$
Thats why i releashed the CAD files, so anyone interested with the right connections can make their own.

If there is enough demand i could make a couple of sets.
The plates itself could all be custom.
With different cut outs, or longer in the front or back.
It is just that i can make the clamps in a larger quantity, and do all the cutting and bending at once.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade and I do appreciate people sharing their designs, its very generous, but for those looking for skid plates are you aware that the SXS skid plates are available? Good quality, I love mine, $164 directly from SXS in Idaho.

You have to agree though that this custom aluminum skid plate looks very high-end and fancy, especially if you look up close. Some might prefer it just for its aesthetic properties.

Absolutely, its a beautiful piece of work and again, very generous to have taken the time to design it, build it, document it, and share it with all of it. I hope I have not insulted anyone by referencing the SXS plate, feel free to delete my post(s) if they are out of place here. -Eddie

Hey no problem over here.
It was never my intention to make a commercial profit.
I made them for myself to protect the bottom battery cover.
Which is pretty thin plastic.

The only thing I wanted to make clear is, that if there is a demand.
I would have to make a series to get the price down.

If your design also fits the EXR, I would purchase one. So, please add me to your list. Thanks.
