Attached are some photos of my 2019 EXR. I learnt a lot from this owners forum and did a bunch of mods to protect what is now Alta Un-Obtainium.
Bike was new from Straight Line Motors in Arlington TX - they have been awesome to work with, they provided the graphics and even got some parts before Alta They shut down.
Here a list of upgrades:
- Hand guards to prevent crash damage
- Display guard from Trialsman
- Chain slider from hot foot moto
- BRP chain guard - really solid
- Fastest link guard - protects linkage and can adjust ride height
- Pro taper pro series o-ring chain - 8000 lb strength less chain stretch
- Tubliss tubes
- Baja Designs squadron sport LED headlight - plugs right in to wiring harness with an adapter from Baja - light is so much better
- New rage cycles micro signal lights
- Poli sport enduro tail light / fender
I raced MX in the 80’s and these Alta’s kind of remind me of the works bikes back in the day. I think these things will eventually have some kind of collector value in the future.
Keep the faith
