Any tricks to drain battery down for storage?

With the rainy weather recently I have not been able to ride and have charged the bike to 100% thinking I would get out the next morning. I am now not feeling well either and it's too much to go ride around our neighborhood to drain 50% of the battery. Are there any tricks to safely drain the battery without riding it? And no I am not pulling a "Ferris Bueller" and putting it up on jack stands with the throttle clamped in place :)

I would think the fastest and possibly the safest way is to turn on the bike and leave it in neutral. I saw a post of someone saying they left there bike on in neutral for an hour to do a firmware update and during that time the battery percentage dropped 11%.
I would assume that Stark would later do a storage mode similar to what you see in RC car chargers.

Yes, I personally plan and doing no more than 24-35 hours of full charge or anything past 50%. If you plan on not riding it for more than that keep it at 50%. I personally am going to keep it at 40% to get the most out of the battery health wise. Typically in RC cars that I run you want to keep the voltage to around 40% of what the full voltage the battery can handle for storage purpose.

I know the pump runs when you're riding the bike but there's something that doesn't sit right with me leaving the bike in neutral for hours on end just to drain it. This is definitely one of the major annoyances with electric bikes so far. Funny how it's not enough battery when you want it and when you're trying to drain it there's way too much. ha!
