The major step was the 14 tooth front sprocket night and day for me
range
You are only seeing the tip of the iceberg. I'm super happy with the 15/42 and longer chain all for under $100. Better range and rideability, less wheelspin and more wheelie, even with the axle back as far as it can go for stability. It's also nice to keep the whining motor noise down to a minimum with lower revs. This bike has enough torque to pull those gears and could tow a small trailer behind it :) If you're in sand try the Pirelli Scorpion MX soft scoop, feels like adding 5hp and doesn't lose any cornering ability on any terrain, but does get a bit sketchy braking on hard pack. It should increase range due to better hookup.
If possible modify your riding style to keep the rear wheel in line with the front, no flat tracking corners with wheelspin, that eats battery.
With all of your moto's so close together (are you running 2 classes?) you are never going to get it to work IMO, but you should be good for practice and 2 moto's, but not 4 in that short of a timeline.

Keep it civil, guys.
Be respectful. No taunting. No name-calling.
I do not want to start locking threads and suspending anyone.
Stay on-topic. Nobody wants to read your personal back-and-forth.
I solved the problem. Switched Marklala into ignored context. Works like a charm. And no loss on solid information whatsoever.

I ride on various jd
Hardpack clay and some sand,
steep as terrain too.
I blued the rotors again last time out in the mx2 setting/14t,
it felt quite comfortable though and good range.
I will put some sintered pads in it maybe rotors too,
it seemed to spin a lot for some reason.
lost a little top end speed and didn't carry the front so well.
I only run one class when racing but they run everything back to back here.
Being told I have to go charge my bike behind the toilet block like some sort of outcast
didn't impress me either.
Tip of the iceberg for sure it is the off season now so i have plenty of time to prepare
hoping to ride some mx2 on this or a 1.2 next season
15/42 that's like a 16 front plus more
and thanks for your help I was nowhere with it before the gearing changes.

When you say MX2 do you mean you are limiting the HP? If so, why? Never heard of anyone having blued brakes, really on any bike, but some have reported that the rear hand brake lacked power. Do you use the hand brake or foot? Is your generator putting out a constant 3500 @ 220v for max charge speed? The inverter generators are super quiet.

I put it in the mx2 race mode to try it out,
legal in the 250 class.
It went pretty good too.
I usually ride it in the mx1 race mode
lock it out for 48 hours.
The throttle suits me too set like that (both race modes),
it does not give me ride data doing that though.
Lever power is good rear handbrake too
It is steep and fast blued both rotors
First time it happened I think i was over riding the bike(farmgate)
Last weekend I think it needed more regain to be honest
was 14 percent with the 14/47 gearing.
And running away down the hill off throttle
Generator allows max charge rate inverter type
I have various options.
I have already asked my dealer to give me a email
when the 1.2 arrives late oct at this stage,
or maybe just buy a ex and stiffen the suspension up.
a light would be handy.Maybe resale too but i usually just keep them anyway.
Racings over here for the year so no panic.
Hopefully I can trade the mx1 it hasn't been a great experience to be honest,
but still hell fun at times
.Now I know how they work and the improvements should be all good.

The other thing is when I was setting the regain up,
the difference 15 to 14 percent is major because of the bigger gear
and 14 percent maybe less is good going up the hill but sketchy on the downhill .
the waterbars are mostly on exit going uphill but your braking in between the bars going downhill
and into the corner like jump then stop jump then stop downhill.
the bikes full loaded then so the brakes are under enormous pressure.
Ill work on being smoother again.
15 percent worked fine the week before in the mx1 setting .
Depends how much grip is available that changes every week.
A better rider would help.

Some time ago I was at the track and noticed a Varg having a steady LED light, I think blue, and I asked the owner whether there was something wrong with his bike. He said that that there was nothing wrong: he had simply set it to racing mode because in his opinion the throttle response was better that way.

So the MX1 is also limited, not max power? The Regen and brakes make more sense when I realize you have big hills, in Texas we are flat. Now I'm curious how taller gearing works on big hills, but if mine is any indication (60hp model) there's still more than enough torque. Is your suspension stock? Mine is about to get it's first oil change and I think I will have it worked over, it's harsh and my throttle hand going to sleep is my biggest hurdle.

In the mx1 setting it still smokes up the hill and it is steep
I was running it at 60 but like the throttle in race modes, and i lost very little even in the mx2 setting.
harder to carry the front wheel, I have only ridden it like that once .
sleeter said get after the throttle turn it down.(not my quote)
I think reardon coaches at that track so obviously they have there's honking being ex pros.
I will ride the ultra bee then get after it more for sure ,the 15 i hope will bring that back or ill just put it on mx1 for now.
Suspension is stock but ok for me ,the initial is a bit euro harsh but it didn't work for me soft,I do not lean on my arms much anyway.
I used phillips original mx setting less one clik at the rear or just ask phil.
See the suspension page that was a lot of pages ago though.
I think jbi would be the way to go according to others, looks good going around to me,
I would if i was in the USA, but i am going to move to a 1.2 so wont bother.
My dealer is really good i think they use race tech,
The only thing i found was it had some push when you gear it up a bit like a 450 instead of a 350
unleashing all that torque i guess.
I don't ride for long either usually 36 minutes max at a time.
looking at the FIM settings for the sx series 1.2 it should rotate the earth
so i hope i can use that outdoors next year.
I am stale on a mx track and the bike didn't behave the times i have been there, but ill get there.
I think people have been inpatient about just let them enter any race,
was the same with evs NEDRA I have been playing with them since 2012 some engineering so
and ridden gas bikes forever too.

minute stints at once
it could be better

try some stiffer bars if your hands are tingling
my bikes a alphamx1
same as it goes thermal shutoff if i run it on full noise anyway
I am moving my posts to long term stark mainly from now on
i thought i was in the aussy section lol
