Collapsed WP AER48 forks

I just got done riding and it looks like my forks collapsed a few inches.... has anyone else had this issue?

I'm riding a 2018 MXR

All I can find online are a few KTM posts and this article Collapsed WP AER48 Forks – SUSPENSION SERVICES MOTO & MTB

Looks like I need to get them serviced unless anyone else has any ideas. I have never rebuilt or even replaced seals myself.

There was a revised air piston for the AER’s in 2019, so I’d have them updated if you are experiencing issues with the air side. It’s possible to do with the right equipment, but it’s not for everyone.

I take that back, 2018 should have the updated piston. In reality though it doesn't change the solution. You can put the bike on a stand and pump the air cartridge up and try and get them to extend enough to equalize the pressure in the lower chamber, but chances are they need serviced either way.
