Converting from rivet to clip style master link?

I have a Varg EX and I’d like to put on a TM Design Works chain guide as well as a Bulletproof Design chain guide tab protector.

I’m 99% sure I’ll need to separate the chain to switch out the chain guides. It seems like the Vargs use a rivet style master link. Would it be okay to swap this to a clip style master link? If so, any specific brand or model I should get? I’m assuming it’s a 520 style chain

You need to get the RK 520 MXU one like the chain.
I tried a DID one from KTM and it was not compatible.
A standard RK 520 would do the work but it would be better with the u-ring.

I've seen quite a lot Stark owners with clip style master link.

I tried multiple chains and pretty much every 520 without Orings fit.
I use the cheap 24MX variant because in all the sand the sprockets will wear down quicker than the chain anyways.

I just used a cutting wheel to remove the stock chain guide. It was trash anyway and it's not like I would ever put it back on. The TM Design guide can be separated so you never need to break the link.
