Dented/bent skidframe core

Hello! At some point during my ride yesterday, I must have hit a rock/hard log and dented the skidframe core.

Any thoughts on this? It seems like my two repair options are to buy a new skidframe core (Alta Motors SKIDFRAME CORE (1202005-03) | eBay) or have a machine shop repair it. I am not sure this warrants a repair though.

Thank you!
Stuart

Looks to be a pretty strong hit. Glad where that hit was the skid frame was there, otherwise it would have been a nice hit on the battery casting.

Getting a spare skid frame doesn't hurt, but repairing it would be probably more/same as a spare skid frame

I ordered an SXS skid plate yesterday, hoping that prevents something like this in the future. Riding technical single track/hard enduro on this bike makes me a little nervous, but it is incredible how well it handles. Never stalls and easy to keep in place on steep hills using the throttle.
