My understanding was that Alta started taking orders for parts about a month ago. There are a select few that have just received the parts they ordered from the website. You will probably be able to place an order on the website, but it will probably take weeks until they inform you if the part is available or not, longer to receive it if they even have it. But from my understanding the website is still working and there is a skeleton crew filling those orders.

I believe the Alta store is a separate entity at a remote location from the crew shipping hard parts. At least it used to be...

My understanding is that everything in the Alta store is off-site and handled third party. Separate inventory from what gets touched when a dealer calls in to order parts. I had no problems with my order that I did a couple months back (skid plate and seat screw).
