EX charger vs. MX charger

Is the charger that comes with the new EX the same as the charger comes with the MX bikes.
I have both bikes and both chargers, and it cannot tell that there is a difference between the chargers. If this is the case I should be able to charge either bike with either charger.
If any of you have any knowledge of this please post your response.
