The " Futures" are new to me. Do they somehow change the track to make it easier or safer?

In the past they really tamed it down so that it wasn't much of a supercross track. I hear this year will be tougher though, since now they are using the event as a way for upcoming pro's to earn their supercross points. I'll get a sense of how difficult the tracks will be after next weekend at Glendale.
