Fork Adjustment Knobs

So @VINSANITY and I are swapping front forks but his Rebound adjustment knob is missing:

I only have the one adjustment knob on my MXR forks. He offered that I remove the adjustment knob on my fork and replace the missing one in his. From this pic I would think the knob could be pried off using a flat head or something but it offered more resistance than I was comfortable with. Does anyone know if i can just pry this knob off or do I need to remove the screw (which I'm also not comfortable with since it hits a hard stop at the end of the adjustment travel)? If no one knows for sure than no big deal, I'll just adjust it with a wrench.

Just pry it with two screwdrivers. If it breaks, Kreft Moto has aluminum knobs.

You need to remove the screw. Hold on to the adjust knob so that just the screw rotates, not the knob.

Oh, yes! Now I understand it too. Hold the knob and turn the screw.
