My bike will arrive next week and I must look for protection.
Any one mounted Hand Guards yet?
I guess the ones mounting on the handlebar clamp mounts are out of the picture.
What else is there to look out for? Any recomendations?
I asked the same question on Facebook, and got a few pictures including this one.
It looks like as long as they are not too long to where the inboard handlebar clamp is, they are OK. (Of course)
I think this will be first bike i will run with handguards... the throttle assembly price is a little high for a component i already trashed multiple times on other bikes...
I hope it is possible to replace at least the throttle tube if it made ground contact
Circuit brand hand guards from England are designed to absorb impact ( bend )
and not transmit big hit into hands and break wrists etc
these hand guards are made completely from Nylon -
No Aluminum Bar to transmit impact into hands -
Circuit hand guards cost $100 for pair - plus mounting brackets
worth cost compared to broken wrist / hand damage
circuit also makes cheap and total junk hand guards for $30 ish
dont waste money
