I heard some grumblings about this but I didn’t think it would happen so soon! Looks like we won’t be waiting too long after all.

Couldn’t wait for the production version of the CR-E so had to build my own - sort of a 1980’s retro electric thing - it’s pretty ridiculous and would give the Sur Ron a run

Dumb hobby - it’s all consuming - like a drug or something

I like it. It's a very high-tech F1-inspired design: a stressed battery and a stressed motor!
It’s taken me years to get this thing right - one thing fails, then the next - repeat - repeat until finally - 7 years later I can now ride it as hard as I am able without overheating or otherwise blowing it up.

Attached are post battery fire pics of the previous edition - damn that was a scary fire - the flame was 8 feet tall and it burned for 10 minutes - apparently a bad 18650 Panasonic cell?

Don’t blame the batteries; Blame the speed on re-entry. It sounds more impressive that way.
