Do the hours add up while charging if key is left in the on position while charging ?

Also, I’m unable to get to the hours screen on a new 2017 Mx ? What is the sequence.

No, the hours are not "tallying" when it's charging.

The far right button on the display will bring up the hours.

If the hours don't display, the bike may have very early firmware.

If your dealer still had the laptop equipment then they would be able to. If not welcome to getting a laptop/dongle and CAN bus dongle to communicate to your vehicle.

The operating hours record only when the bike is live and in motion. The bike also stores charging hours which can be seen in MultiTool.
