How to remove the connectors box lid" (I think)?

The black plastic that covers the connectors at the clamps (see picture) is making it really difficult to access one of the rows of connectors. I don't want to randomly use violence and hope it comes off, and it's not visually obvious to me how it's supposed to come off - but I assume it does.

Does anyone know how this comes off? I've love a description of it.

Just pull it up and away from the hub, the little bump (and hole above it) in the very top of your photo is the tab which indexes it onto the hub.

The little "bump" is both on the left and right side and you insert a small screwdriver on either side to easily lift it off.

@drehwurm68 With the screw driver, is it to just get a handle on it, or are you meant to press (e.g. inward) to unlock some kind of latch or similar?

You insert the tip of the screwdriver into the latch and gently pry outward. This will unlock the cover and you can pull it off towards you.
