Not coming here to bash or biotch

I’m also not familiar with how dealers see or respond to warranty work So my situation may be a normal one

I was told by Stark to take it to the nearest dealer for a drive train replacement

Nearest dealer was 80 miles away and seemed eager to take it in so I hauled it down the very next day

4 weeks was yesterday and he hasn’t even ordered the parts yet

Is this Normal ? He did say on this last call “ it’s just bad timing, we are busy getting our stuff ready to sell before Christmas.” And of course they took off a week for Thanksgiving too.

I am not the type to bitch and complain, but I’m also not the type who puts their work off. So, at this point, I basically feel like they have no intention of repairing it.

I don’t want to argue the dynamics of “selling vs repairing” Or even “which pays the bills” I just want to take my bike to someone who wants to fix it LoL

I am lucky enough to over bikes to ride. Even have another stark in the building too. So, is this just the Norm, bad timing, or do dealers just not do warranty work anymore ? Hell, I would pay extra If they would have put that option on the r table.

I live in western NC But I can drive it somewhere easy enough.

Sorry for the long read.
